This report makes a case for a review of the Unit Titles Act 1972, the New Zealand legislation governing the operation of bodies corporate. It argues that a review of the Act is necessary to ensure that it provides the best legal framework to support the intensification of housing and associated rise of common property ownership that is occuring in Auckland.
